I see Captain Picard. How do I get through the steam?

  • 1 of 16: Listen to Captain Picard -- he has a good idea.
  • 2 of 16: There must be a way to cut off the energy that makes the steam.
  • 3 of 16: Maybe something could absorb it?
  • 4 of 16: Unfortunately, there are no bugs on this level.
  • 5 of 16: Maybe you can make some bugs here.
  • 6 of 16: Remember the Romulan scientist and the bugs he made in the Genetics Lab?
  • 7 of 16: Go back to the Conductors by teleporting.
  • 8 of 16: Sample some DNA from the absorbing bug's carcass. Be careful!
  • 9 of 16: Come back to the Genetics Lab, and make one.
  • 10 of 16: It is too bad that it is not steam proof!
  • 11 of 16: Return to Xa'Tal's lab and get some steam-resistant DNA from the friendly critters there.
  • 12 of 16: Then go back to the Genetics Lab and make your own hybrid creature.
  • 13 of 16: You can lead the hybrid creature with the power cell.  Be careful, he nips!
  • 14 of 16: When it sees the fresh energy, it will leave you to go absorb the energy.
  • 15 of 16: You must get in close to the steam for the bug to follow you in.
  • 16 of 16: The steam will shut off, and you're ready to return to the surface.
