Still Life Hints
Morgue and Office: How can I lift Kolar's fingerprints?
of 18: First, make sure that you have an object that has Kolar's prints on them.
of 18: Victoria won't lift the prints until she is instructed to.
of 18: Obviously she will need to talk to someone about it -- but whom? Has there been anyone who has been especially helpful?
of 18: Take Victoria down to the morgue. Talk to Claire for instructions.
of 18: Claire's fingerprint lifting equipment is in the same room where Victoria has her desk.
of 18: Let's get back up to the eighth floor. (Good thing the elevator hasn't broken down.) Go into the room on the left (the room with Victoria's office), then go to the back left corner of the room. Claire's fingerprinting equipment is on the counter.
of 18: Just entering into this area will cause Victoria to place the bottle on the counter -- now to figure out how to lift prints.
of 18: First, you will need some powder to dust for prints.
of 18: Open the jar (roughly at the center of the workspace). Note: Victoria will need to be empty handed to open the jar.
of 18: Next click on the paint brush.
of 18: Dip the paintbrush into the powder.
of 18: Now dust the bottle with the paintbrush.
of 18: Once dusted, it will be possible to lift a print...
of 18: ...except the ones on this side of the bottle are too smudged.
of 18: Use the arrows at the top of the beer bottle to find a print on the other side of the bottle.
of 18: Found one? Now to get the print off the bottle.
of 18: Use the tape (it is just to the right of where the paintbrush was first found).
of 18: Click on the bottle to lift a print. If the print you're trying to lift is not the correct one, just turn the bottle and try again until Victoria says she's found one that will do nicely.
