What do I do with the blood stain?
1 of 4: First, be sure to take a photograph, before disturbing the evidence.
3 of 4: You won't be able to pick up the sample with your bare hands. Right-click to open the inventory and look for a suitable item. (Allow the mouse to hover over each item to read a description.)
4 of 4: The forensic swabs can be used to collect blood samples. Click on the swabs to select them, then click on the "closed fist" icon near the top left of the inventory screen to put the swabs "in hand". This will automatically return you to the game screen. From here, simply click on the blood to collect a sample.
