Still Life Hints
How do I use the crane controls?
1 of 6: First, be sure you have clicked on the crane control panel (inside the tiny building) to begin.
2 of 6: The crane can be moved in four directions -- within the limits of the junkyard. The crane starts in the lower left corner of the junkyard, so from this position it can only be moved right or forward (towards the top of the screen).
3 of 6: There are four directional arrows in the bottom left corner. Clicking on one of these arrows will move the crane over one space. The left one moves the crane to the left; the right one moves the crane to the right; the top one moves the crane forward; the bottom one moves the crane back.
4 of 6: The other symbol in the bottom left corner is a up/down control. Clicking on this symbol causes the crane to dip towards the ground, then lift back up.
5 of 6: If there happens to be a crate under the crane when it moves down, the crane will pick it up. (Now that's a magnet!)
6 of 6: If the crane happens to be carrying a crate already, then using this control will cause the crane to lower the crate to the ground and release it.
