Still Life Hints

Bridge: How do I use the photograph of the bridge?

  • 1 of 15: Think back to Gus' earlier encounter in the Park.
  • 2 of 15: It seems that Gus has some kind of psychic abilities relating to these photographs.
  • 3 of 15: He can "see" something in the differences between the actual location, and a photograph of the location.
  • 4 of 15: Compare the picture of the bridge with the actual scene.
  • 5 of 15: Toggle back and forth between the picture and the real scene, by clicking on the eye in the bottom right-hand corner.
  • 6 of 15: What differences can you find (other than the body of the dead victim in the photograph)?
  • 7 of 15: If you think you have found an interesting spot, click on its location in the picture, and Gus will investigate the spot at the actual scene.
  • 8 of 15: Notice the benches; listen to Gus's comment about the benches having been changed.
  • 9 of 15: Looks like we need to find out what happened to the old benches.
  • 10 of 15: If a city had replaced a number of old, worn-out benches with newer ones, what might they have done with the old ones?
  • 11 of 15: Perhaps relegated them to the junkyard?
  • 12 of 15: Return to the junkyard and talk to Peter.  He will show you where the old benches are.
  • 13 of 15: Look around in a pile of junk that Peter exposed to find the old benches.
  • 14 of 15: Look closely to find a "hot spot" on one of the benches.
  • 15 of 15: Take the spiked ring from where it is lodged in one of the benches.
