Still Life Hints
The regular tumblers and the master tumblers
The tumblers in the puzzle are the colored rectangles that move up or down, as you work with the two lock picks. There are 9 tumblers on the top -- in three sets of three -- and six tumblers on the bottom -- in three sets of two, for a total of 15 tumblers.
The instructions refer to two different kinds of tumblers -- regular tumblers and master tumblers. In the case of the puzzle, the master tumblers are the ones with the large circles on them. They are always situation in the top row of tumblers, and are the last tumbler in each of the three colored sections. All of the other 12 tumblers are regular tumblers.
