How can I move the tumblers?
Using either pick, left-click on (depress) tumbler "A" -- the first tumbler on the top. Note that two things happen: first, the pick pushes tumbler "A" to its outer (open) position; second, tumbler "J" reacts by rising to a fully locked (closed) position. From this first step, it is apparent that depressing tumbler "A" causes a response in tumbler "J". These two tumblers are related.
Now retract the pick. (With that first pick still selected, left-click on the shaft of the pick. It will retract.) Note that tumbler "A" returns to its original position... as does tumbler "J". Using the same pick, left-click on tumbler "J". Again, two things happen: first, tumbler "J" is pushed to its open position; second, tumbler "A" moves into a fully locked position.
From this, it is apparent that the relationship between tumblers "A" and "J" is mutual. Depressing tumbler "A" causes a reaction in tumbler "J", and depressing tumbler "J" causes a reaction in tumbler "A". This is NOT always the case, however. Two tumblers are NOT necessarily mutually responsive to each other, as we will see shortly.
