Still Life Hints
Mark Ackerman's Apartment: What do I need to do here?
1 of 5: Explore around the apartment to find out more about Ackerman. It certainly appears that he was intimately familiar with many of the prostitutes who have been murdered.
2 of 5: There is a large book on a stand, on the left side of the screen (when in the first apartment scene, with the door in the background and the paintings visible on the wall). Apparently Ackerman was fascinated with the occult.
3 of 5: There is also a telegram on the small stepladder at the far right-hand side of the room. Take the telegram, and Gus will read it. Looks like Ackerman has been up to something that is displeasing the Embassy.
4 of 5: Maybe it's time to check once more with Skalnik. He may know more than he's been letting on.
5 of 5: Return to the police station, and -- with Stasek temporarily gone from his post at the front desk -- walk upstairs to Skalnik's office. Watch the cut-scene that will complete this chapter of the game.
