Still Life Hints
Office: How do I use the Remote Bomb Disposal Unit?
of 14: Click on the console, to have Victoria walk over and sit down in the chair. You will get a close-up look at the RBD.
of 14: Note the book on the desk, to the left of the console. It is the manual for operating the RBD. Click on it, and read it in Victoria's document folder.
of 14: Play with the controls to see what each of them does.
of 14: What happens when you press the red "Release" button?
of 14: Hmm.. who's that little blue guy that just dropped in on us? And might this be of some help?
of 14: Back at the console, note the four directional arrow buttons surrounding the red square.
of 14: What happens when you press any of them, after releasing one of the mini-robots?
of 14: The robot will make its way over to the wall -- directly to the grate in the wall, in fact -- then turn around and come back to where it started.
of 14: There must be something significant in the fact that it heads directly for the grate in the wall.
of 14: What if the grate were not there?
of 14: How could Victoria remove the grate?
of 14: Move into a close-up of the grate, and use the screwdriver twice -- once on each screw holding the grate. Victoria will remove the grate cover and set it aside.
of 14: Now what happens if a mini-robot is sent on its way?
of 14: The mini-robot will walk into the open air duct, and continue into the adjacent room!
