Still Life Hints

How do I finish once I'm over the back doorway?

  • 1 of 10: The good news is that you're past the difficult part.  Now it's just a matter of navigating the mini-robot over several "safe" squares, and through one more laser beam, to the control box.
  • 2 of 10: Beginning from where you left off at the last clue, pivot to the right and move forward two clicks (down the wall).
  • 3 of 10: Pivot to the left, and move forward one clicks, above the top of the doorway.  The scene will change to show you the remainder of the room.
  • 4 of 10: Move forward one more click, and take stock of where you need to move to finish this puzzle.
  • 5 of 10: Your goal is the white control panel that is down the wall on the right side.  Try to get a little closer, using "safe" squares.
  • 6 of 10: Pivot to the left, to face up the wall, and move forward twice, onto the ceiling.
  • 7 of 10: Pivot to the right, and pause to consider the remainder of the trek.
  • 8 of 10: From this point on, there is only one laser beam to contend with -- and it is covering five squares between the mini-robot and the control panel.
  • 9 of 10: Watch until the laser passes through the first two squares immediately in front of the mini-robot, and follow it as quickly as possible -- but ONLY through TWO squares, because the laser will double-back and catch the mini-robot if it is too hasty.
  • 10 of 10: After the laser beam has left the square immediately above the control panel, continue to move the mini-robot forward, and watch the cut-scene as it destroys the control panel.
