Still Life Hints
Richard's Gallery: How can I use Richard's computer?
of 10: Richard's computer contains an enormous database of information on thousands of works of art.
of 10: Before any can be accessed, however, they need to be identified.
of 10: Initially, when Victoria looks at a close-up view of Richard's computer, there is very little information there.
of 10: The method of getting information into the computer, from the paintings in the gallery, is to have Victoria examine each one.
of 10: If she has already done that, any paintings that she has commented on will show up on the computer.
of 10: To insure that all paintings are in the computer's database, move Victoria around the entire perimeter of the art gallery, looking closely at each individual painting by Mark Ackerman.
of 10: As Victoria comments on each painting, a name or keyword will appear in the upper right corner of the painting.
of 10: In two instances, there are also "active" spots on the paintings.
of 10: Click on these active spots for further comments by Victoria.
of 10: Once Victoria has examined all of the paintings, and returned to Richard's computer, she will find that each of them now has an entry on the computer.
