1 of 3: You're going to need to use two items that you can find in this studio to assemble a makeshift lockpick.
2 of 3: There are two modeling tools -- one on the desk, and one at the far side of the room.
3 of 3: Combine them in your inventory, and you can then use the resulting tool to pick open the file cabinet and the cupboard.
