Still Life 2 Hints
A few basic notes on Still Life 2...
Well folks, this is it. I'm sure a lot of you have been waiting a long time to find out what happened at the end of the first Still Life game. You will find out during the course of Still Life 2, but the majority of the game is focused on quite a different murderer... the East Coast Killer, and his somewhat Saw-like torture and murder games.
As with all adventure games, pick up everything you can. However, Still Life 2 puts a twist on this system by giving you limited inventory space of sixteen "cases." Some items just take up one case, while larger ones such as sledgehammers or mattresses take up eight or even all sixteen of them. This is why you will find scattered around the game several closets where you can store items. You can put them in there, and come back for them later once you need them. I'll give a few hints on the location of these, but they are usually fairly self-explanatory to spot.
On the note of things being self-explanatory, please remember that this is NOT a walkthrough. These are hints on how to solve each and every one of the game's goals, which are viewable on Vic's smartphone, or Paloma's voice recorder. Sometimes opening those goals won't be explained -- in these cases, they will be opened by simply exploring. Talk to everyone, visit every room, and come to these hints when you get stuck, but don't follow them one by one to get through the game, as that probably won't work. :)
