Still Life 2 Hints

GOAL: "Open the right door in the electric chair room"

  • 1 of 14: The electric chair itself is the solution to working out which is the correct door, so you're going to need to turn the chair on before you can proceed.
  • 2 of 14: You'll also want to have removed Paloma's dollar before you escape from this room.
  • 3 of 14: Now, if you've one both of those things, the next step is to push the electric chair off its rails onto the turntable platform next to it. Now, sit in the chair.
  • 4 of 14: If you squeeze the lever at Paloma's right hand, the chair rotates to face one of the six doors you can escape from. A light comes on, and a name and number is shown. The fifth door shows Paloma's name, and the number 129.
  • 5 of 14: That number, 129, is the key to getting that door unlocked.
  • 6 of 14: Did you find anything on or near the electric chair involving numbers? If not, look harder.
  • 7 of 14: The small grey metal box next to the squeeze lever controls the voltage of the chair.
  • 8 of 14: We need to make a total of 129 volts, by combining the values we can alter.
  • 9 of 14: We have access to +50, +20, and +5 volts, and also subtracting a value between 1 and 5.
  • 10 of 14: So, turn the +50 knob twice to the right, to make 100.
  • 11 of 14: Now turn the +20 knob once to the right, to make 120.
  • 12 of 14: And, add ten more by turning the +5 knob twice to the right, making a total of 130.
  • 13 of 14: Finally, subtract one from that value by shifting the slider to -1.
  • 14 of 14: Now, push the red button to open the door, and send a rather nasty 129 volts through poor Paloma's body.
