How can I upgrade to First Class?

  • 1 of 15: You're not going to be lucky enough to find a free upgrade certificate to first class.
  • 2 of 15: The only way to get an upgrade is to go through Marsinta.
  • 3 of 15: She sure has an attitude problem.
  • 4 of 15: Maybe you could fix it.
  • 5 of 15: She is just a robot, after all -- there are probably controls somewhere that you could adjust.
  • 6 of 15: Look in the Sculpture Room (which you can only access once you're in Second Class).  See what you find there.
  • 7 of 15: Do the shapes of the sculptures look at all familiar?
  • 8 of 15: They look kind of like the bots on the ship.
  • 9 of 15: In fact, one of them looks a bit like Marsinta.
  • 10 of 15: That's the third bot to your right after you've entered the room.
  • 11 of 15: Take a look at the dials on the left of your screen that appear when you approach the sculpture.  They look a lot like the dials that appear when you're talking to the bots.
  • 12 of 15: Try playing with the sculpture -- there are two controls that you can use.
  • 13 of 15: When you turn them, you should notice that one of the dials on the left of the screen will move either to the very bottom or very top position.
  • 14 of 15: Those dials let you know what Marsinta's mood is.
  • 15 of 15: Move the top two dials to the top two positions.  Marsinta will then be responsive to a request for an upgrade.  Just try asking "MAY I HAVE AN UPGRADE?" and she'll give you one.
