Star Trek: Judgment Rites Hints
Should I use the archives or turn off the generator?
1 of 7: There's a bit of technobabble in this part of the mission that you might need deciphered before you know what this question is asking. Read on for translations.
2 of 7: Basically, you have a bit of a dilemma here: if you download the information from the archives, you'll erase it and shut off everything else in the complex.
3 of 7: But if you turn off the power generator properly (so that the devices are all deactivated), you'll lose what's in the archives.
4 of 7: Using the archives will also mean that the aggressiveness pheromones keep getting produced.
5 of 7: So you can choose between a bit of scientific knowledge or the saving of an entire race.
6 of 7: The Prime Directive doesn't apply here, BTW, since it's already obvious that someone has interfered with the Balkosi.
7 of 7: You'll want to save the Balkosi. Tell Spock to turn off the generator. If you've done everything else properly, you should finish with a 100% score. (Accessing the archive will seriously hurt your score.)
