Star Trek: Judgment Rites Hints
How can I convince the Savant to let Spock go?
of 9: If you've talked to Spock about the Savant, you must know that it's not going to listen to logic or reason.
of 9: The only thing that will convince it to do anything is emotion.
of 9: More specifically, negative emotions.
of 9: Have you seen anything that produces negative emotions?
of 9: The stones on the screen with the Vurian hold emotions.
of 9: But you'll need something powerful enough to scare the Savant.
of 9: The pile of blue stones will do the trick. (See the next question if you don't know how to get those stones safely.)
of 9: Then use the stones on the Savant to scare it into a dialog. Be polite, and it should let Spock go.
of 9: One dialog path (that the Savant starts after you throw the stones into it) that works is choices 3, 2, then 1.
