Star Trek: Judgment Rites Hints
What if I have been to room 7?
of 12: The explosion you created getting into room 7 destroyed the generator that you were using.
of 12: You'll have to find a new source of power.
of 12: From something that might appear to have no power at first glance.
of 12: The proper in room 9 still has a functioning fuel cell, if only you could get to it.
of 12: Man alone can't open the door into the fuel cell.
of 12: But a robot can.
of 12: Repair the automated worker ("Barney"). The hints on how to do so can be found in another question.
of 12: Once you have the worker running, use Scotty on Barney, and Barney will automatically open the hatch for you.
of 12: All you need now is a liquid and a conductor to recharge the cell.
of 12: Silver is a good conductor.
of 12: And cognac is a good liquid.
of 12: Take the silver tray and cognac decanter out of the curator's office, and then use them on the fuel cell. Once you've done this, you should be able to recharge the remaining capacitor by using it on the fuel cell.
