How do I get out of the Teleport Room?
1 of 19: This is a tricky one.
2 of 19: It's not obvious what's going on here, and this puzzle requires a little trial and error.
3 of 19: And maybe a little arithmetic too.
4 of 19: Try going into all the pods and noting what happens. Make special note of anything out of the ordinary.
5 of 19: One of the pods flickers when you use it.
6 of 19: That one's not important, though. Anything else different?
7 of 19: All of the pods simply teleport you out and back where you came from... except for one pod.
8 of 19: Pod 1 teleports you to Pod 2.
9 of 19: You have to get to Pod 21 to get out of the room.
10 of 19: There is a pattern that you have to visit the pods in.
11 of 19: A simple arithmetic pattern.
12 of 19: Pod 1 -> Pod2 is the first pod in the pattern.
13 of 19: Well, maybe you just have to go around them one by one up to 21. So try Pod 3 next.
14 of 19: Hmm... now you're at Pod 5. See any pattern to the pods?
15 of 19: How about this... the pod that you go to next depends on the last pod you went to and the one you came out of.
16 of 19: It's a simple addition pattern.
17 of 19: You go in Pod 1 and come out Pod 2. Pod 3 is the next pod to go to because 1+2=3.
18 of 19: You go in Pod 3 and come out Pod 5. Pod 8 is the next pod to go to because 3+5=8.
19 of 19: The full pattern is: 1->2, 3->5, 8->13, 21->out. If you pick the wrong teleporter at any point, you have to start over again at Pod 1.
