Part 1, The Big Ear

  • 1 of 3: "Better to be seen than heard" is not the rule here.
  • 2 of 3: Think stealthy thoughts.
  • 3 of 3: It is easiest to do this mission at night, with your lights off.  You can do it in the day if you like, but just be careful to stay back.  Go into the metal cave, and pull forward until you are resting on the ridge.  Otherwise, your shots will be blocked.  Wait till the target passes -- heading to the south is best.  Shoot a Big Ear at him -- a little leading of the target helps.  You can pull forward, and follow at a distance if your first shot misses.  Don't fire until you get the target brackets and until you can also see the ship.  You will hear the target ship talking if you connect.  If you fail and run out of Big Ears, you can always buy more.
