CIC: Recon

  • 1 of 4: This mission is available at Velcova Station.
  • 2 of 4: You will need the ROV for this mission.
  • 3 of 4: Master the ROV controls to win this mission.
  • 4 of 4: Go to the caves as directed. Park your sub outside the final chamber, just before the fork in the caves.  The base is through the north leg of the fork. If you are detected, you will have to try again.  Deploy the ROV, and use "R" to swap controls to the ROV, and use F5 to see the ROV screen.  As you send in the ROV to survey the cave, use the Ctrl key to turn on the recorders many times.  Dock the ROV back with the sub quickly, and use F1 to get back your view when escaping.  You can temporarily swap controls back to defend your main sub if you have to do so with "R" and "F1".
