Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Hints

Where can I find the star map on this planet?

  • 1 of 13: It is deep in the Shadowlands.
  • 2 of 13: You'll have to get into the lower Shadowlands, past a large forcefield.
  • 3 of 13: Once there, go to the far southern part of this area. You'll find a large computer, with an odd alien being projected by it.
  • 4 of 13: Talk to the image -- it will recognize you and will begin to question you.
  • 5 of 13: Ask it what you need to do to activate the star map. It will reveal that the previous user blocked access, and that you'll have to pass a test to verify that you have the same mental patterns as the previous user.
  • 6 of 13: You'll have to answer questions in a very specific manner to get it to let you see the star map.
  • 7 of 13: Since the last user was obviously Revan, you'll have to answer the questions like Revan would.
  • 8 of 13: Note that if this is the last planet you've come to, you won't have to answer the questions for reasons that are obvious if you've gotten there (I won't give away the plot here).
  • 9 of 13: To pass, answer that you would accuse your companion for the first question.
  • 10 of 13: Say that you would sacrifice the city and attack when the enemy is weakest for the second question.
  • 11 of 13: Say that you would let the attack happen for the third question.
  • 12 of 13: If you want to avoid Dark Side points, say something after your response indicating that you find it distasteful, or that you did it for a "noble" reason. Otherwise you'll get Dark Side points.
  • 13 of 13: Once you've finished that, you'll get the star map.
