Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Hints
How should I deal with Sunry's murder trial?
of 12: Note that to start this quest you must have Jolee in your party.
of 12: After you learn of the quest from Elora, go get permission to be Sunry's arbiter from the Selkath judges.
of 12: You might as well start out with a quick interview of Sunry himself, and Elora. It won't gain you much, though.
of 12: To get Sunry off in the trial, you'll have to have persuaded at least two of the witnesses at the hotel to give testimonies in your favor. The Sith prosecutor is a really bad lawyer, so it's not terribly hard as long as you don't screw yourself up.
of 12: The hotel manager will automatically give his testimony with no questioning.
of 12: To succeed in defending Sunry, stick to questions directly involving the murder -- do not ask questions about Sunry's character, or about his ability to commit the crime.
of 12: Ask each witness from the hotel whether or not they actually saw the murder, and then ask them the question involving the evidence you got out of them during your investigations.
of 12: Ask Elora only about Sunry having an affair.
of 12: Ask Sunry about the affair as well, and he'll say he was going there to end it.
of 12: In your closing arguments, say only that the Sith killed her because Sunry was going to end the affair, and that no one saw the murder. Sunry will get off, and the Sith will be charged with obstruction of justice -- not bad for defending a guilty party.
