Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Hints
Light Side
1 of 8: Since they're deserting the Sith, you'll want to help them out.
2 of 8: Tell them you're not there to kill them, and persuade them to give you a chance to help them.
3 of 8: They'll ask you to kill a great beast that's blocking the way out of the caves.
4 of 8: So head along the path to the eastern side of the caves, to a stone bridge.
5 of 8: You'll find that the great beast is a Terentatek, which you probably heard about on Dantooine. It's not really all that tough, as they're actually very vulnerable to force powers despite what you heard. It hits hard, though, so try to use some debilitating force power on it, and be ready to cure its poisonous attack.
6 of 8: Once it's dead, be sure to search the area for some very good Light Side only robes, and then go back to the students.
7 of 8: Report to them that the way out is clear, and they'll leave, netting you some Light Side points.
8 of 8: Then go back to Master Uthar and tell him that they are gone, or that you've killed them. He'll believe you, and you'll get prestige.
