Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Hints
How can I get into the Black Vulkar base?
of 16: Well, the front door is sealed tight, so that's not an option.
of 16: You'll have to ask around.
of 16: Gadon, the Hidden Bek leader, will give you a way.
of 16: You'll have to find Mission Vao, who knows the way.
of 16: You can find Mission in the Undercity, just outside the gate to the village.
of 16: She'll be rather panicky, because her friend Zaalbar the Wookie just got taken by Gammorean slavers (you know, those ugly pig things). She says she won't help you get into the Black Vulkar base until you help her get her friend back.
of 16: She tells you that they took him to their base in the sewers, so that's where you must go.
of 16: Look around in the sewers -- eventually you will come upon some Gammorean patrols, and that means you are getting close.
of 16: Eventually you'll find a long hallway with some Gammoreans around it, with a door on both sides.
of 16: Through one door is a really tough fight with some Gammoreans, which you will almost certainly lose.
of 16: Fortunately, in the other room there is a combat droid.
of 16: You could use the help, so activate the droid with some repair parts, and he will go attack the Gammoreans.
of 16: With your newfound backup, the fight shouldn't be much of a problem, so deal with them, and find Zaalbar through a locked door to the left.
of 16: Now that you have Zaalbar back and in your party, Mission will disable the nearby forcefield leading to the next section of the sewers.
of 16: In this section you'll run into a new obstacle, though -- a gigantic Rancor.
