Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords Hints

What do I need to do as T3-M4?

  • 1 of 12: First, notice that you have access to your Jedi's inventory. Use that fact to equip all the good droid armor and other items that you've found so far.
  • 2 of 12: Then search the footlockers and broken droid in the starting room for some extra items (including repair kits).
  • 3 of 12: Go through the south door in the area to get to the room with the hangar control terminal in it.
  • 4 of 12: Your first major goal in this sequence is to repair the terminal so that it can be used to open the nearby door to the fuel depot.
  • 5 of 12: Unfortunately, you'll need one "parts" object in order to repair the hangar control terminal, and you won't have any unless you brought a few in from the Prologue. (If you did, you can just repair the terminal right away and skip all the stuff in the two next hints.)
  • 6 of 12: The only place you can find parts around here is behind the sealed door in the storage room. It can only be opened with explosives, so you may or may not be able to do it right away.
  • 7 of 12: If you "brought over" some minor frag mines from the Prologue and haven't used them, you can use one now to open the sealed door and skip the whole explosives-hunting routine.
  • 8 of 12: ALTERNATIVE: You can use the hangar control terminal to access the remote camera controls and look in the security cargo room. You can then use T3's Demolitions skill to blow open the sealed door by overloading 3F-FD. (This will also destroy two of the containers of random loot inside, though.)
  • 9 of 12: After you raid all the containers past the sealed door, you'll have the parts you need to repair the hangar controls. Do so, then access the emergency control commands and check the status of the emergency subsystems.
  • 10 of 12: This will allow you to use a computer spike to open the blast door to the fuel depot (the hangar bay door won't work).
  • 11 of 12: Go through the door and along the pathway, fighting droids and looting containers, until you enter the fuel depot area.
  • 12 of 12: Ignore the purple force fields and find the fuel control station, where you can finally open the emergency hatch that you (as the Jedi) saw earlier. When you do this, poor T3 will get blasted by something, and control will revert back to your Jedi character.
