Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords Hints

How can I release my Jedi?

  • 1 of 12: Start by exploring the room that you start in.
  • 2 of 12: There's a security console and a utility droid that you'll want to investigate.
  • 3 of 12: TIP: The "count" for the security console starts out being 2, but changes if you enter it incorrectly.
  • 4 of 12: Download the Shutdown program from the droid and the Overload program from the security console, then move on. (If you have T3-M4 with you, have him use the security console to increase his Dexterity.)
  • 5 of 12: After blasting the floating mines from a distance, battle the "Goto starboard commander" droid in the next room. (Remember to shoot any maintenance droids who appear first, since they can repair other droids in combat.)
  • 6 of 12: After it's over, search the commander droid's remains for access codes to the containment system, which you can use in the nearby command console to unlock the containment cell system. After you do that, you can upload the Overload and Shutdown programs into the system's program library, and then attempt to run them on any restricted system that you find the access codes to.
  • 7 of 12: For instance, after gaining access to the containment cell system, you can run Shutdown on it to drop the force fields over the three nearby cells. (Or, if you have Bao-Dur or a lightsaber-wielder with you, you could just bash the force fields.)
  • 8 of 12: One way or another, get into the middle cell and obtain the turret codes from the damaged utility droid. Then return to the command console and use those codes to access the turret systems and run Shutdown on them. (They won't actually shut down, but will target everything, including Goto's defense droids.)
  • 9 of 12: If you have problems fighting all the defensive turrets in the exterior defense room, then just run straight through it and out another door. (Or use energy shields and toss grenades at the turrets.)
  • 10 of 12: Run through the SE door first in order to find a bunch of areas with little combat and lots of loot, plus a workbench and a lab station.
  • 11 of 12: You can also get a Reset program from a droid in the SE set of cells and then upload it into a command console and run it on the turret system to remove the turrets' advanced targeting protocols.
  • 12 of 12: After you trash the defense turrets outside it, enter the audience chamber and retrieve your Jedi.
