1 of 2: Talk to the "beast-rider" guy in the Iziz spaceport and then walk away from him to get his "tame" boma to break free and attack. After you kill it, you can get a reward from the beast-rider.
2 of 2: If you can pull off the repair dialogue option with 1B-8D in the western square, you can then double-talk him into selling his inventory for less.
