How do I solve the murder mystery?

  • 1 of 17: Riiken referred you to the cantina, so head back to the western square and check out the cantina.
  • 2 of 17: Talk to all the customers who aren't just generic "patrons" or whatever about Captain Sullio's murder.
  • 3 of 17: Motive is one of the first things you want to find out about, and Panar in the beast-rider gang's side room (or near the cantina exit if you employed his services at some point) is the one to talk to about that.
  • 4 of 17: Now find someone who knew Sullio or Gend well enough to respond to what Panar tells you.
  • 5 of 17: Try Nikko, who's standing near the entrance to the swoop registration and bar area.
  • 6 of 17: Mention what you learned from Panar, then ask him about the night of the murder and where the body was found.
  • 7 of 17: Outside, it'll be easy to find the murder scene near the cantina because there's a big red bloodstain on the ground.
  • 8 of 17: Near the stain is a garbage pile and a broken droid. Search them both for clues.
  • 9 of 17: Nothing useful presents itself, but Mandalore has the idea of asking people in the cantina about the droid in case it had something to do with the crime.
  • 10 of 17: Nikko says that he and Dhagon Gent chased off some guys scavenging the droid right after the murder happened. Those unknown guys were probably removing some sort of useful evidence.
  • 11 of 17: Talk to Panar about the droid to learn that the droid parts seller 1B-8D always buys scavenged droid parts. Maybe it has what you need.
  • 12 of 17: Find 1B-8D in the outdoor western square area and ask him about parts from Bahima's serving droids.
  • 13 of 17: Buy the parts it offers, then take Mandalore's tip about asking Kiph in the cantina about them.
  • 14 of 17: Kiph will help you see the last thing that the droid saw.
  • 15 of 17: It's not clear from the recording who did it, but it *is* clear that the person came from the marketplace, not the doctor's office, which is where Nikko saw Gent come from.
  • 16 of 17: Go show the recording to Nikko to get him to go to Captain Riiken with the evidence and his testimony.
  • 17 of 17: After you convince some pesky major that Gent should be released, you'll meet and talk with him at his office.
