2 of 3: As you approach it, Kreia will advise you to finish with the old Sith Academy before venturing into the shyrack cave.
3 of 3: However, you don't really have to. It's the secret tomb (enterable only via the shyrack cave) that's the real problem. Go ahead and explore the shyrack cave whenever you want to.
