What's the alternate solution?
1 of 8: Since HK won't give you the exact code in the correct voice, you'll need to record bits of the maintenance officer's voice from other sources.
2 of 8: First, go and get the sonic imprint sensor from the plasteel cylinder in the workbench room.
3 of 8: Then talk to HK again. He still won't speak the code for you, but you can record his rendition of the maintenance officer's dying screams.
4 of 8: That's one-third of the puzzle. Now you need to find two other areas you can make recordings from.
5 of 8: If you look at the maintenance logs on the maintenance console now, you'll get an extra "[Sonic Sensor]" option. Take it to get another third of what you need.
6 of 8: For the third and final part, you'll need to use the turbolift to return to the admin level.
7 of 8: Run back to the security room and use the security desk to get a recording from the security records.
8 of 8: Now all you have to do is return to the maintenance console and use your spliced-together voiceprint code to open the security door.
