How do I get the Youkols to help me?

  • 1 of 8: It's kind of hard to translate the language, but Kate makes a guess, and if you talk to the chief he'll confirm her guess.
  • 2 of 8: They're afraid of Oscar! Can you imagine?
  • 3 of 8: Actually, there's a clue in the journal as to why this is so.
  • 4 of 8: Remember the mask on page 4? Oscar is the spitting image of the "soul messenger," a spirit who guides souls to the other world. I'd be afraid too.
  • 5 of 8: You're going to have to convince the Youkols that Oscar is friendly.
  • 6 of 8: A nicer mask would do the trick.
  • 7 of 8: Ask Oscar to wear the mask, and he'll come out and wave to the Youkols.
  • 8 of 8: Now go ask the Youkols for help again, and this time they'll happily go hook the train up for you.
