Syberia II Hints
How do I free the ark?
of 10: You can't do this until you've moved the train into the mountain and opened Oscar's heart.
of 10: Use the key from Oscar's heart in the train and see what happens.
of 10: Oh, good grief, all those wheels and switches and levers and ... I think I'm getting dizzy.
of 10: Actually, this isn't as hard as it looks. In fact, it's not possible to mess it up, since you can't push anything until it's time. You can just pull levers and push buttons at random till it works if you want.
of 10: Oh, not in the mood? Okay, let's see if we can get some logic to it here.
of 10: The mechanism will enable the train to melt the ice with a blast of pressurized steam.
of 10: For steam you need two things: water and a source of heat.
of 10: And you have both of those things. The track is over a pool of water, and you personally filled the coal car back in Romansburg.
of 10: The three meters measure how full the water tank is, how full the coal hopper is, and the pressure in the steam chamber.
of 10: Your general plan of attack is to insert the key, get water, get coal, fire the coal to heat the water, point the steam nozzle in the right direction, and turn on the steam.
