The 7th Guest Hints
Dollhouse Puzzle (Attic)
1 of 6: There are rules to this puzzle, but I suspect that most people will find them too complicated to deal with; trial and error (as undesirable as it may be) may be the simplest choice.
2 of 6: Basically, you need to reach the top of the building (dollhouse) using rules that you set up for yourself.
3 of 6: There are four types of windows and four different directions.
4 of 6: You can only move in the same direction from each type of window throughout the puzzle. So if you start with a rectangular window and then move to the window to the right, you must always move to the right after landing on a rectangular window. (This is only an example, not a hint, by the way.)
5 of 6: And you must also set each type of window to a different direction. Once you've set a rectangular window to "right," you can't move to the right from any other window.
6 of 6: The rules do not change any time in the puzzle, even from level to level.
