The 7th Guest Hints

Grate Puzzle (Kitchen Door)

  • 1 of 9: The trick is to get the top half of the circle in the bottom right corner of the puzzle (square C2) and to have the bottom half somewhere other than C1.
  • 2 of 9: Then you can move the pieces on the left side of the puzzle around until you get the bottom half of the circle in B2.
  • 3 of 9: After that, all you have to do is slide the top half of the circle up and then move the bottom half to the right.
  • 4 of 9: Here are the exact moves (listing only the square to move):
  • 5 of 9: B2, C2, C1, B1, B2.
  • 6 of 9: C2, C1, B1, A1, A2.
  • 7 of 9: B2, C2, C1, B1, B2.
  • 8 of 9: A2, A1, B1, C1, C2.
  • 9 of 9: Then move B2 into place.
