The 7th Guest Hints
House Puzzle (Toy Room)
1 of 5: It appears that not every starting configuration of this puzzle can be solved -- namely, if you've managed to get a completed house except for one square, you probably won't be able to finish.
2 of 5: There is a very simple pattern that will help you solve those configurations that can be solved.
3 of 5: I found it easiest to work on the middle row first. Use only the column changing buttons (the top and bottom of the puzzle) to get the middle row to look like what it's supposed to.
4 of 5: Then if the puzzle can be solved, you should be able to get the top and bottom rows to match the original picture by changing only those two rows.
5 of 5: Just use the buttons along the sides until the picture looks like what it's supposed to. Again, if the picture is perfect except for one repeated square, the puzzle is probably unsolvable. Just hit the restart icon at the bottom of the screen and you can try again.
