How do I discredit her?
1 of 13: Your basic strategy is to prove the scar might have been caused by something other than hot nachos. Once you're out on the street again --
2 of 13: -- go over to the bar and see what you can find. There are a lot caustic liquids around town; we need to get samples of them all.
3 of 13: At the bar, order and drink a row of Blood Island Volcano shots; Guybrush drinks all but one and keeps the glasses. (And is still upright. Either he's a heavier drinker than I thought or the drinks are all fruit juice.)
4 of 13: Buzz around town gathering caustic liquids in the empty shotglasses. There are five to find, one for every glass in your inventory.
5 of 13: Now you need a spare leg to test these liquids on. De Singe might have one, but he's not talking to you at the moment. How about a fake leg?
6 of 13: There's a lovely leg lamp (a la "Christmas Story") outside the glassblower's shop, but he really values that leg. What if we made it less valuable?
7 of 13: Throw some molten glass on the leg lamp, and it's yours. Now we get to experiment, heh heh heh.
8 of 13: Combine the leg lamp and each of the various liquids to see what you get. Your goal is to reproduce Krebbs's scar, a purple skull and crossbones on a black background.
9 of 13: The molten glass returns the scar to a uniform black blob, so use that if you want to start over. Otherwise, each liquid creates a stain in its own color, and the colors can be combined (i.e., a red stain and a yellow stain makes an orange stain).
10 of 13: Also, there are two types of pictures created: one that looks like a boot, and one that looks like a parrot. When they're put together, they make a skull and crossbones.
11 of 13: So what you want to do here is create a red parrot, then create a red boot on top of it, then add blue to make it purple.
