1 of 3: Remember the last thing he said on his ship before he punched you back through the Crossroads rip?
2 of 3: He said there was nowhere you could go where he couldn't find you.
3 of 3: That means wherever you go in this section of the game, he'll eventually show up and punch you through whatever rip is nearest. It doesn't do any permanent damage, but it is rather annoying, so just keep moving if you don't want the bother.
