How do I get through the atrium entrance?
1 of 11: What you need here is a smoke bomb
2 of 11: -- and there's one in that locked cabinet in Security.
3 of 11: Use the smoke bomb on the hallway, and now you can see the lasers. That's the end of the safe part, friends.
4 of 11: Save your game, then stand and watch the lasers for a moment. (The bomb will last as long as you need it.) What you have here is six individual lasers with about two feet between them, each in a different pattern.
5 of 11: The strategy here is to step past one laser, then stop in that safe zone and plan the best way to get past the next one.
6 of 11: The first one is just up and down; go when it's at the top. The second is right to left; stand at one side and go when it's going away from you.
7 of 11: The third one is diagonal. Stand at one side and go when that side is at the top.
8 of 11: The fourth and fifth ones have a rhythm to them; stand and watch them for a moment to see when you get the biggest gap, then go.
9 of 11: The last one is another diagonal; use the same rhythm as you did for the last one. Get through the door, and SAVE.
10 of 11: Two more notes on the lasers: (1) If you save in the middle, you'll reload at the beginning again. So save when you start, then don't bother saving again till you get through the door on the other side. (2) Even if you're playing in casual mode, you can't skip this horrible puzzle. The only way through it is to just get through it.
11 of 11: The only comfort I can offer is that it gets easier the more you do it. After you've been killed fifteen or twenty times, you can almost waltz through it. (grin)
