Tesla Effect: A Tex Murphy Adventure Hints
How do I find the seven letters?
1 of 7: Once the lights around Bauer's room are off --
2 of 7: -- go look at it. Clicking on the panel at the left reveals seven red circles. Huh?
3 of 7: You may not have noticed, but there are little signs all around this area with words on them like "purity" and "serenity." And on each sign, one of the letters is circled in red.
4 of 7: That can't be a coincidence. You need to find and click on all seven signs, while still not dying, of course. Check the map for the location of the signs.
5 of 7: The only really hard ones are Rebirth and Wisdom, which are in what I've called the meditation room because there's often a monk sitting inside that you can't see until you enter. To get these ones, step cautiously into the left door to see if it's occupied. If it is, wait a moment, and he'll leave through the right door. Keep your eyes peeled all the time, though, for another monk coming towards the left door where you're standing.
6 of 7: When it's clear, skip nimbly in, click on the two signs, and save, so if you get caught you still have both letters. Phew!
7 of 7: When you have all seven and have turned off Bauer's cell lights, click on the panel to the left of Bauer's door, then use the letters from your inventory on the red circles and Tex will insert the letters automatically.
