Where should I build this sentry gun?
1 of 4: Sentry guns work best where enemies do not have a direct shot to wipe them out.
2 of 4: Try placing them around corners where enemies cannot necessarily see.
3 of 4: Most players will rush through the doorway or around the corner and run right into the sentry's line of fire. They will never know what hit them.
4 of 4: Also, build sentry guns where they will be useful. If you know of a route into your base that is usually left undefended (like the elevator passage in 2Fort) and you want some defense there, set up the sentry there. If you notice that your sentry has been destroyed, then you know someone must have breached your defenses and you know how. Intercept the infiltrator based on your new knowledge.
