Team Fortress Classic Hints

Where should I snipe the Alley from?

  • 1 of 8: The Alley is remarkably important since almost everyone passes through it.
  • 2 of 8: The more popular places to snipe from are above the main alley.
  • 3 of 8: The fire escape ladders lead up to the roof overlooking the Ruins.  Take a slanted angle from the roof and you will have a shot at anyone who exits Building 1.
  • 4 of 8: Shots can be taken from the roof of Building 1 as well, though they may be a bit more risky.
  • 5 of 8: If you find a ladder in the Ruins, follow it up to the roof of a small bunker-like building that looks straight down the alleyway.  Shots can be taken from there as well.  Just watch for attacks coming from the Main Road side.
  • 6 of 8: If you do not follow that ladder all of the way up, you will find yourself in a very dark little bunker that overlooks the alley.  Hide your sight on the bottom edge of the window and take shots from there.
  • 7 of 8: On the opposite side of the alley from this bunker, you will see two windows looking down on the alley.  These windows are overtop the Ramp and can be accessed by going through the lower level of Storage Area 3.  You will be able to shoot at anyone trying to enter the alley.  Just watch out for those who take the vent up and sneak up behind you.
  • 8 of 8: One other place to take shots from, is in the passage to the ramp.  Before any bodyguards get through the alley, move to this position and aim straight down the alley way.  If anyone enters the alley, take them out.  You will probably have to abandon this position relatively quickly, but you will have made your point by the time you retreat.
