How should we manage our team?
1 of 10: Constant communication will help you get from point A to point B without losing the civilian.
2 of 10: By constant, I mean, lots of important information should be passed among teammates quickly. This means, you must be quick at addressing your team while still playing your position.
3 of 10: There should be two divisions in your team setup. The first should fan out into the level, securing a travel route and providing coverage as the civilian passes by. The second should actually travel with the civilian.
4 of 10: The basic idea is to have one solid entity travelling within a sort of liquid entity. The solid entity is the civilian's personal team of 4 or 5 players. The liquid entity is the division made up of the remaining players.
5 of 10: The entire team starts out as a dense mass in the main garage. The "liquid" team begins to move out into the Main Road to protect the exit to the main garage. The "solid" team hangs back and waits until everything is properly secured outside the base. Part of the "liquid" team may begin to push on farther into the level, though the majority should be securing the Main Road.
6 of 10: Once the "solid" team has enough coverage to get outside the main garage, the "liquid" team begins to fully fan out throughout the level, covering as many positions along the civilian's travel route as possible from the main garage to the escape doors. The "solid" team travels quickly through the somewhat thinner coverage of the fanned-out "liquid" team.
7 of 10: As the "solid" team moves farther away from their initial starting point, the "liquid" team can relax its coverage on the areas already traveled through by the "solid" team. Hence, the coverage provided by the "liquid" team will become stronger as the "solid" team moves deeper into the level. The two teams should meet up and become a dense mass once again upon reaching their final destination, in the Field.
8 of 10: This may seem like too much work for a game, but you will already see this occuring almost instinctually in some of the better games of Hunted. It may not be quite so perfectly laid out, but the basics are all there.
9 of 10: The civilian's personal team should consist of only a few players. A decent team is about 1-2 soldiers, 1 HWGuy and 1 medic.
10 of 10: The soldiers will lead the way clearing the way in a quick and systematic fashion. The HWGuy and the medic should be trailing the civilian. The HWGuy will protect against attacks coming from behind or anywhere relatively nearby. He will also be in charge of protecting the civilian if the civilian ducks into cover. The medic will heal the civilian whenever he needs it and he will overload the civilian's health whenever he is about to enter some potentially difficult areas. Replacement medics may follow loosely behind in case the main medic is taken out by snipers.
