Team Fortress Classic Hints
Why are bullets and explosions going off around me? No one is around.
1 of 3: Where you attacked by a spy? Probably so.
2 of 3: You are probably hallucinating. Look above your character's health and armor indicators. If you see a symbol containing a head with objects flying around it, you have come into contact with a spy's hallucinogenic grenade. The hallucinations will wear off in about 15 seconds. Keep an eye out for the spy though.
3 of 3: If there is no hallucination symbol, then those bullets and explosions are probably real.
