How can I get rid of this laser-sight?
1 of 7: Obviously, if you are using weapons that do not support the laser-sight, you will not get the laser-sight.
2 of 7: The laser-sight only appears when you go to take a single shot. You can either hold down the fire button to "power-up" your shot or you can just take shot immediately. You will only cripple an enemy if you do not power-up the shot by holding down the primary fire button, which in turn displays the laser-sight.
3 of 7: You will often give away your position by having the laser-sight out in the open. Enemies will see the laser-sight and realize that you are nearby, and you may lose your hidden edge, hence the need to rid yourself of this red dot.
4 of 7: The best way to do this is to hide the sight somewhere. Hide your sight behind some crates or on the ground close by or on the wall, etc. Just keep it hidden until you need to take the shot. Ideally, you should only have to move the crosshairs a slight distance to uncover the sight and make the shot.
5 of 7: You can also hide the sight in the sky. The sight altogether disappears whenever it is aimed at the sky or at the objects in the distance (those that are part of the sky matte).
6 of 7: There are also various red lights throughout many of the levels. Since most of these have the same or similar color to the laser-sight, you can place the sight on those and an enemy will not see it.
7 of 7: There are occasions as well when the server may hiccup or something and the sight disappears but you still have the primary button held down. You still have the powered-up shot. The laser-sight is just gone temporarily. This is ideal since you can move your crosshairs anywhere without being detected.
