Curse of Atlantis: Thorgal's Quest Hints

Misc. Tips

  • 1 of 6: Always wave the cursor slowly around the screen to find things you can interact with and pick up, and to find exits you can use to move to other screens.
  • 2 of 6: When you find something to interact with, you usually have to click on it once to walk over to it and then click on it again to do something with it. This includes approaching and talking to people.
  • 3 of 6: When you talk to someone, there's no dialogue choice menu -- you simply click the talk cursor on them over and over again until they start repeating the last thing they said.
  • 4 of 6: Thoroughly talking to someone once isn't always enough. They sometimes have new things to say after you've adventured elsewhere and done other things. This is especially important to remember if you ever get stuck somewhere and can't figure out how to progress.
  • 5 of 6: You can skip through conversation topics by right-clicking while someone is talking. Only do this if you're replaying a sequence and you know what's going to be said.
  • 6 of 6: And always remember the "Golden Rules of Adventure Games," as I call them. You know, generic things like "save frequently" and "explore everywhere and try everything" that apply to every adventure game ever made (and many non-adventure games, too).
