Curse of Atlantis: Thorgal's Quest Hints
How do I do the slider puzzle?
of 9: If you're like me? With a great deal of trial and error, and a lot of clicks on the "restart" button over to the left of the puzzle.
of 9: The restart button and the slot the puzzle needs to fit in over to the right will help you see what it's supposed to look like when it's finished.
of 9: Don't worry about it taking dozens of complicated moves to solve. It can be solved in as few as six moves (after restarting if you've already been trying the puzzle).
of 9: Start off by trying to get the painted head into shape.
of 9: Three moves will get the head fixed up except for a column (which is topped off by the right ear) being too far up.
of 9: The very first move you need to make is to push the piece that's sticking out on the left side of the face inwards (it's the only piece that's sticking out that far).
of 9: Then you've got two horizontal slides that can be done in any order to get the head fixed (except for that aforementioned right-ear column).
of 9: Before you can fix the column, you need to look at the bottom section of the shape. It'll only take one horizontal slide to get it fixed up.
of 9: Now rotate the puzzle using the up arrow above it so that you can click the column that's sticking up too far down twice to put it in place. That'll finish things up.
