Curse of Atlantis: Thorgal's Quest Hints

Where can I get a grappling hook?

  • 1 of 11: There aren't any just lying around to take.
  • 2 of 11: You'll have to find someone who has one.
  • 3 of 11: Gelorn has one, but he won't admit it unless you've befriended him.
  • 4 of 11: Talk to him until he mentions that he has a special arrow that might do the job.
  • 5 of 11: However, he's going to make you work for it.
  • 6 of 11: After he says to stand near the pole, you can click on a patch of ground that's a ways back from the big target wheel contraption.
  • 7 of 11: Do so to position yourself and ready your bow.
  • 8 of 11: After he spins the wheel, you'll have a limited time to put at least one arrow into each of the five targets.
  • 9 of 11: You may need several tries in order to figure out exactly how much lead time to give each target when firing at it.
  • 10 of 11: Also, don't try to hit two targets in a row. Instead, after you hit a target, wait and shoot at the second one after it. Since there are an odd number of targets, this method is fast and efficient.
  • 11 of 11: When you manage to hit all five targets in the time allotted, Gelorn will stop spinning the wheel and will give you the grappling hook.
