How can I cross the big hole in the floor in one room?

  • 1 of 11: You need a long board that can bridge the gap between the floor segment you're on and the small chunk out in the middle that registers as interactive.
  • 2 of 11: Go back north one room and wave the cursor along the wall between the west exit and the doorway to the storage room.
  • 3 of 11: There's one board along that wall that will register as interactive.
  • 4 of 11: However, it's stuck firmly to the wall.
  • 5 of 11: Unfortunately, this board is too short to bridge the distance. You'll have to find another one.
  • 6 of 11: Check out the chemistry lab behind the locked door. It has another board in it.
  • 7 of 11: But that darn board is too short, too! Now what?
  • 8 of 11: Notice that the board you got from the lab has some ropes on it.
  • 9 of 11: Bring up the Activity Bar and combine the two boards in your inventory. The ropes will hold them together.
  • 10 of 11: That'll make a board long enough to bridge the gap, so click the combo board on the interactive floor chunk that's halfway across.
  • 11 of 11: After walking out to that floor chunk, take the board back and then use it on the interactive spot farther on to place it again.
