Curse of Atlantis: Thorgal's Quest Hints
How can I get to the door? I keep getting teleported back to the start!
1 of 9: First, you need to realize that getting caught between two force walls will teleport you back even if you don't actually touch either one. For instance, if you walk to the floor segment past the first force wall and stand there, you'll get zapped if both the first and second force walls come on at the same time.
2 of 9: This makes things a little more complicated, but the walls cycle through the same pattern over and over, so if you write that pattern down and analyze it, you can figure out a way to make it all the way to the door.
3 of 9: Number the force walls from 1 to 5, with 1 being the first one you have to pass and 5 being the one nearest the door. (NOTE: The force walls will eventually reset to all being on. If they do before you make it across, just shoot the triangular button again.)
4 of 9: The first pattern in the sequence is 1 3 5 since force walls 1, 3, and 5 are on, but 2 and 4 are off.
5 of 9: From there it goes to 2 4 5, and then on to eight other patterns before it starts repeating. Read on for the exact pattern list.
7 of 9: Analyze that to see how to get through without ever getting caught between two force walls.
8 of 9: Read on for the exact answer.
9 of 9: When there's no instruction next to a pattern in this list, just stand where you are until it changes to a pattern that has an instruction to move.
1 3 5 2 4 5 - Move between walls 1 and 2. 1 3 - Move between walls 2 and 3. 1 2 4 5 3 4 2 4 - Move between walls 3 and 4. 1 2 3 5 1 4 5 3 5 - Move between walls 4 and 5. 1 2 3 - Move on past wall 5.
